As far as the Sorceress is concerned people are only there for her to do with as she pleases, and little pleases her as much as making someone into something else. Mobile or immobile, animal, mineral or plant, they are all the same to the Sorceress. Beauty can be carved in stone or wood as well as flesh.
Even as an inanimate object a person can serve many purposes. Door stops, foot rests, pillows, and of course statues for decor. They may not be able to move, breathe, or even blink, but they are all aware and they are all still useful.
